Very high opinion of this HDTV, and it's picture, however when I hooked it up to my stereo receiver for great sound from two very large Klipsch speakers, I lost the ability to mute by the remote, or change the volume, and must use the stereo receiver, which is not nearby to do those functions. I have only had this set operational for two weeks, so I cannot comment on reliability, altho I've heard Sony is a well respected manufacturer..
